Gimbals and Pointing Mechanisms
NEA can provide precision pointing mechanisms in multi-axis configurations for fine positioning of payloads on orbit. Our devices incorporate advanced stepper motors driving through zero backlash transmissions and coupled with output telemetry devices.
NEA Antenna Gimbals have been designed specifically to meet the performance, electrical interface and mechanical interface requirements of the major satellite suppliers. Our devices are available with both 3 phase and 4 phase windings and are currently undergoing qualification.

For applications that require work and high efficiency NEA can provide spaceflight brushless DC motors with integral planetary gearheads for very efficient deployment or other work type applications.
